October sun in Azay-le-Rideau
With some friends, we went along the Indre to go to Azay-le-Rideau, through the charming towns that are Artannes sur Indre and Sache. The guided tour of the castle is required, and we have great pleasure to revisit the history of this beautiful setting surrounded by water and flanked by his five Tours. Coffered ceilings finely decorated famous portraits, beautiful structures that form a monument in the monuments, Following beautiful pieces each furnished in its century.
We then stroll through the old streets of Azay enjoying the beautiful facades and sun. Everything is going!

We went to Rigny-Ussé
Another beautiful hot day, perfect for going up and discover Ussé Castle of Sleeping Beauty. This is one of the Loire castles (on the Indre!) worth a visit with its distinct and harmonious parts of XVI, XVII and XVII century, a bit like an open architecture book. The well-furnished rooms and occupied by their costumed characters make us discover all facets of these periods. Perrault's tales are both present and well presented: parfait pour les petites familles!
We also admire the elegant Gothic chapel adjoining the castle. In the gardens, we appreciate the mist effect of central water jet! And an ice cream right in front to conclude the tour with a nice view over this beautiful.

The current castle from the Middle Ages (side wall) and renaissance (courtyard) remained rooted in his time and tells perfectly. It is very well furnished, Flemish tapestry fifteenth centuries are beautiful and have kept their old colors. With an exciting guide that makes you go back in history and relive the marriage of Duchess Anne of Brittany to Charles VIII.
