Villandry castle is only 30 minutes from Saint Branchs. We took advantage of the good weather to spend the afternoon there and enjoy the castle and its remarkable gardens. Nice step back in time by admiring the old keep and the facades, and by browsing the large, very well furnished rooms of the 16th century part. We fell in love with the beautiful Louis XV staircase. Sumptuous bouquets brighten up every room. And from room to room, views of the gardens.
Let’s go! We pass with pleasure from terraces to gardens and from garden to terrace. Here we play on symmetries, patterns, colors, essences and smells. We like flowers, vegetables and fruits. We like the water of moats, basins, fountains, which runs or plays with reflections. It’s beautiful!
